The Indiana Section – SAE International would like to welcome you to our 2015-2016 General Body Meeting. This year we will be at Cummins in Columbus, IN. The evening will consist of a Guest Speaker, Welcoming the new board members, Highlighting the events over the next year, and Dinner. We would love to see you all out!

SPEAKER:
We are excited to have Brett Barnhart to speak and do Q&A. Brett has been working for Cummins Inc. for 34 years in a variety of leadership roles. He has been very active in IndyCar racing both as a former crew member for AJ Foyt and now as an official. During his 14 years in Foyt's IndyCar pit crew he was able to take part in five IndyCar victories and two IndyCar championships (1996 and 1998). Barnhart now serves as part of a 12 person team that make technical inspections on race cars during the IndyCar season. When Brett is not working or at the track, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children and 9 grandchildren.

3RD ANNUAL GO KARTING SOCIAL - March 2015
The SAE Indiana Section hosted the 3rd annual Go Karting Social. This event was held at Fastimes Indoor Go Karting in Indianapolis, and was hosted and sponsored by Faurecia.
Michael Schubel was our guest speaker. Mike is an employee of Cummins Inc. currently in a Technical Advisor role. Mike competes across the Mid-West in dirt-track racing. He gave us a background on his racing knowledge as well as some racing tips that we could execute during the day.
